The Colombia nurse diaspora in the US
The Colombian-American community exceeds 1.2 million, concentrated in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Texas. Colombian nurses benefit from this large established diaspora. Bilingual-training graduates have an advantage on NCLEX preparation. The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) serves as the primary professional network.
