Terms of use

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of nursingusa.com and related services (“NursingUSA,” “we,” “us”), operated by NursingUSA.com. By using NursingUSA you agree to these Terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or post in the community. By using NursingUSA you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials secure. Don't share your account, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. One person, one account — accounts may not be transferred or sold.

3. What NursingUSA is — and isn't

NursingUSA provides information, a hospital directory, a moderated community, and tools to help international nurses pursue a US nursing career. We are not a recruiter, staffing agency, immigration attorney, medical advisor, or licensing board. Information on the site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, medical, or financial advice.

Hospital-directory data is compiled from public sources, government filings, and information provided by hospitals themselves. We work to keep it accurate but do not warrant its completeness, currency, or fit for any specific purpose. Always verify critical details directly with the hospital, the state Board of Nursing, or qualified counsel before making decisions.

4. Acceptable use

Use NursingUSA only for its intended purposes. Don't:

Community posts are also governed by the Community Rules, which form part of these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (community posts, documents, profile fields, etc.). By submitting content you grant NursingUSA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it as needed to provide the service. Documents you upload to your private account are not displayed publicly and are accessible only to you and (if you have one) your assigned advisor.

We may remove content that violates these Terms, the Community Rules, or applicable law. Repeated or severe violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

6. Affiliate links and disclosures

NursingUSA participates in affiliate programs with third-party providers of nursing-related products and services (NCLEX prep tools and similar). Outbound links to those providers are clearly labeled with a “Partner” badge and the standard rel="sponsored" attribute. When you click such a link, we may share limited information with the partner (such as the click referral), and if you make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

We only feature tools our community actually uses. Whether a tool is a partner does not influence our editorial selection or how we describe it. See our Privacy Policy for how affiliate links interact with cookies and tracking.

7. Intellectual property

The NursingUSA name, logo, brand elements, the site's look and feel, and the curated organization of the hospital directory are owned by NursingUSA.com and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, limited license to use the site for its intended purposes. All other rights are reserved.

8. Third-party links and services

The site contains links to third-party websites (official agencies, partners, hospitals, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those sites. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

NursingUSA is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of information. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that information on the site is current or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NursingUSA and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NursingUSA, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party right, or (d) content you submit.

12. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using NursingUSA and delete your account at any time from your Account page. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. When you delete your account:

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, the Community Rules, or any conduct we reasonably believe to be harmful. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of NursingUSA after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Contact
